Mission:

The Department of Economics is engaged in teaching and learning as its core mission. The Department tries to impart analytical and critical understanding of the larger social problems of which economics is an integral part.

Vision:

Our endeavor is always to cope up our students to deal with various social and economic variables both qualitative and quantitative in nature. We attempt to develop skill of our students towards handling quantitative analysis using various statistical and mathematical tools. We encourage our students getting field experience particularly in rural areas.

Values:

1. We utmost value consultation of Text as well as reading of References
2. We value the critical thinking including current reading
3. We value to exercise understanding the relation of economic problems with existing social realities
4. We value the thinking of international communities and try to replicate them with our all limitations ,i.e., we share our understanding regarding CORE ECONOMICS freely available through internet
5. We like to provide exposure to our students not only for future planning but also to help them understanding outer world
