The Physics Department of Srikrishna College was started as a General Course department in 1995. Later, from 2008 B.Sc. Honours in Physics was introduced. Since 2018, the three-year Honours and General course have been substituted by a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). Our recent intake capacity is 46 for B. Sc. Honours and 149 for B.Sc. General Course. Every year the selection and admission of the students are made strictly according to merit. The rate of success of our students is as high as ninety percent. A good number of honours students come out with excellent results every year and got admission to reputed universities for higher studies.
