Our Policy

1. To involve our College as one of the participating institute of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan 2.0 that aims to develop the rural areas of our nation.
2. To adopt various villages that would aid in the development and well-being of the residents.
3. To identify the development challenges of the adopted villages with local communities and address them with suitable solutions and technologies involving the Management, Government, and Private Sectors.
4. To seek financial assistance from UBA by applying various projects and their implementation in the adopted villages and also to work along with the existing Gram Panchayet Development Plan.
5. To involve faculty and students in serving the villages and in understanding rural realities.
6. To engage villagers through community engagement initiatives, create jobs and income, and raise their standard of living through sustainable living.

Proposed Villages to be Adopted under UBA:

Muragacha, Mayurhat, Sahapur, Bayerdengi, and Paschim Harindanga of Hanskhali Block, Nadia, West Bengal
